My name is Rob and I am the Driving Instructor Weymouth at CDT as I may be training you (or relative) to drive I feel its important you know a bit about me.
I have been married to Sheli for over 20 years and we have grown up kids. I used to help friends and family with their computers (installing software, fixing hardware problems etc). My wife and family say I have good patience and understanding with people and with my interest in driving suggested that I would be good as a driving instructor. So I searched the country for the best instructor trainer which I found and with his help passed three exams to become a fully qualified driving instructor. I then went on to work for a franchise organisation and have now started working with CDT.
I have over 25 years driving experience and have passed various advanced driving tests. I try and read every book, watch every DVD I can about driving. Always want to know more and to stay up todate with the industry.
I am a member of Rospa, the Institute of Advanced Drivers and a DIAmond Advanced Motorist, also a registered IAM Instructor.
I am also a member of the Driving Instructors Association and Motor Schools Association.
I have also had an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check
